Kapow – productions- and planning system has been modernized and further developed by FrontIoT for Egmont. Kapow handles production flow and distribution of Comic stories. The steps consists of information from a story is born to right until it has been drawn and coloured and finally delivered to the publishers.
Furthermore, the system gathers historic information about the comic material. The informaton consists for example of republishing of the material and other information related to this. The database contains publishing information for about 25-30 years comic production.
Kapow is also used by the Egmont publisher website, where translation material can be downloaded for further usage by the individual publisher. External customers can also get an overview over all available material. The system saves large summs in shipment costs.
