Dear all

Christmas is approaching – and, as is our tradition, we’re sharing a tip on how you can enjoy yourself with DataFlex over the holidays.

“I know exactly what I’ll be doing whilst the children are opening their Christmas presents!”
… as Johan Broddfelt writes in his review of the new Chart Library.

With the new Chart Library from Data Access, you can easily add charts to your DataFlex apps. Simply collect the data you want to display in an array – and the library will update the chart directly in the browser. The clever thing is that you can freely choose between ChartJS, HighCharts or Syncfusion for the actual display, without changing your DataFlex code.

As I understand it, the intention is to continue adding new libraries and versions to provide more support. That’s great :=)

Read more about the new Chart Library at this link, where there is also a link to a video.

The Chart Library can be downloaded here: https://github.com/DataFlex-dev/Charting-Library. Click on the green “Code” button and select “Download ZIP”.

EDUC is becoming Flex Roads!

In 2026, the DataFlex conference will be held in Amsterdam on 11 and 12 June, and it’s going to be fantastic!

We’ll be celebrating the 50th anniversary of Data Access! How many software companies can boast about that?

We’ll be back with more news about the Flex Roads conference in the new year. Now’s the time to mark your calendars, as this event is going to be truly special.

And we would like to take this opportunity to wish all our customers and business partners a Merry Christmas and a peaceful New Year.

Best regards
Frederik, Mikkel, Therese, Johan, Klaus and Charlotte
