When the EU introduces new regulations or there are other reasons why the packaging can no longer be sold in its current form, we have a system on standby that can be activated to manage the collection of these goods. When a representative is out visiting shops, they record the goods they collect in the app; BAT then verifies that they have received the same goods by printing a checklist at their warehouse. They can then generate a full report detailing what has been recalled, as well as pay compensation to the shops from which they collected the goods.
